Taco Bake

All four of my kids absolutely love taco's. We've had the standard taco's, taco bowls ( we make (by baking)  mini bowls out of the tortilla's) But one night they wanted taco's for dinner but we had no tortilla's. So with a little research I came across this recipe. I tweeked it a bit to make it more kids friendly and it was an absolute hit. I made this about a week ago and they are already asking for me to make it again. It's quick and easy and sure to be a hit in your home too!

Ingredients you'll need:
1 lb. ground beef
1 package of taco seasoning
1 pkg. (15 oz.) ready-to-use refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
1 1/2 cup Mexican Shredded Cheese
Lettuce (Shredded) - optional
Tomato (Chopped) - optional
Sour Cream - optional
To Make:
HEAT oven to 425ºF.
BROWN meat in large skillet; drain. Add taco seasonings; cook as directed.. PLACE 1 crust on baking sheet; top with meat mixture, spreading to within 1 inch of edge. Cover with cheese and remaining crust; seal edges with fork. BAKE 25 min. or until golden brown. Cool 5 min before cutting into wedges to serve. Garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream.  My two daughters ended up eating half this pie in one sitting. Then requested that they have the leftovers the next day because they loved it so much.
